In this episode, I am creating a Christmas holiday horse in Procreate with flower details that were made for a client to use on custom-printed gift wrap and gift tags for the holidays.
While working on this project, I was thinking about the client's horses. I was also thinking about what you traditionally see in holiday parades, and I kept thinking about beautiful floral hairpieces and garlands around the horses that have a bright holiday Christmas feel to them in colors of green, red, and pink.
Creating A Christmas Holiday Horse With Flowers In Procreate
I only illustrated one horse in Procreate, but I kept the main details of the horse on separate layers so that I could easily recolor the horse since the horses needed to be two different colors in a lighter and darker version.
Two gift wrap designs were created for this project, and the gift wrap and tags were printed using StationeryHQ.

In this episode I created for a client to create custom gift wrap inspired by

When I was creating these horses, I was thinking about my client's horses,

Procreate. Since the two horses they had were two different colors of brown,

I created a lighter horse and a darker color horse by keeping the main art

elements on separate layers so it was easy to recolor them.

So I started adding in the floral elements around the horse's neck

elements that really give a holiday feel.

I included some specks of grass and long pieces that would decorate the farm
