I am not a hiker, or wilderness buff, by any means. But, 2 years ago (despite drive time freak out) all 6 of us, including Grandma, piled into our van and traveled to the Smoky Mountains National Forest in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for a family reunion. I had been to Tennessee before, when I was little, but never actually into the heart of the mountains. I was mesmerized by the forest, and the winding roads going through it. In some areas, the turns were scary and the drop from the side of the road quite steep. But, the views were so incredibly gorgeous I could not keep my face from being plastered to the window and the views outside. We did several hikes into the woods while we were there, and I totally hated the hiking part, but the views inside the forest from the trails were even better than from the car. On this trip we created wonderful family memories that will always be with me. My new graphics pack, Thicket Thatch, is inspired by this trip to the mountains, and the wonder and beauty we found nestled there, hidden amongst the thicket of the forest.
I wanted this new pack to share the beauty of the mountains that tell a story of discovery, adventure, and the wonder of this incredible journey of life. The moments of wonder and awe of the world around us, and seeing it with those we love are at the heart of this new graphics pack.

Using the graphics from the pack
Oh yeah, and I had to hand letter how I really like to camp. (Hint: it does not involve a tent, and includes air conditioning -which, maybe you can relate). But, if you like woodland-ey camping tents, that is okay too. I included a really rustic, or as my boys would say, “Bear Grylls” style tent in the pack.
